Hi! I'm Colin, and back in 2015 I made the jump into full-time freelance photography.
My aim? To catch the headline acts - your vows, your rings, your speeches - to the ‘blink and you missed it’ moments: when the father-of-the-bride hides a tear; when your pregnant bridesmaid nails the limbo; or when your cousin grabs the cheesiest slice of pizza.
I know how important your wedding is, so my approach is to give every moment the same care and attention that you have.
Your celebrations deserve every respect and I balance discretion with engagement in order to bring you the very best photographs, capturing the story of your wedding as it unfolds throughout the day (and night!).
Many of my wedding couples choose to leave a review or simply drop me an email when they’re received their photographs. Feel free to have a browse at what they’ve had to say.
Thank you so much for everything you did. Not only for the photos, but also for being so amazingly helpful and friendly with everyone. So many people commented on what a lovely man you were - thank you so much for being the photographer at our wedding.
ALICE & GRAEME
We have just got back from our honeymoon and have seen our wedding photos! Wow, they are amazing! Thank you so much. We have loved looking through them all and it brought back such special memories. Thank you for capturing the day perfectly.
CATHERINE & EDWARD
We just wanted to say a huge thank you for shooting our wedding! You did a fantastic job and we are really happy with the photos, so thank you.
ADAM & ANNA
I honestly don’t think there are words, I’ve cried through the slideshow (happy tears I promise). These are simply beautiful and you’ve captured the feel of the day perfectly! We cannot thank you enough!

Do my photos seem familiar? It’s entirely likely that you may have spotted my work on some very reputable wedding blogs.
Anna and Jonny’s Jersey beach-side ceremony and Lara and Max’s homestead reception on the banks of Ladybower in the Peak District have both featured on Whimsical Wonderland Weddings. Or maybe it was the Sheffield city wedding from Liam and Lenore that is placed on Kelham Island’s wedding brochures and featured with Rock and Roll Bride?
Or you might have seen me on the official vendors list on Brides Keeping It Real.
I’m a This Is Reportage award-winner and have repeatedly been shortlisted in the Photographers Keeping It Real awards.
